Espiritu de Anaconda is a center located about 100 kilometers from the city ofIquitos in the Peruvian Amazon. This center is directed by the famous shaman Guillermo Arevalo, Shipibo healer.


Guillermo, initially educated in his community, was imbued with a tradition of healers,ayahuasqueros and medicine men. Nowadays, people from the modern world come to this type of center to reconnect to the earth and to themselves, through shamanic initiations.Ayahuasca, mixed with Chacruna or other sacred plants such as tobacco, does this reconnection work. However, it is important to find the right shamans because these types of experiences can be without return. Guillermo explains that the white man comes from afar with a head full of strong images seen either in real life or on TV, and that during an Ayahuasquero trip, these images of horror can come out and haunt us forever... The preparation of theAyahuasca is very important, and from this good preparation, will also depend the quality of the trip.
