CIAO PELLEGRINO...

Initiatory journey of a little man on the Via Francigena

THERE IS NO AGE TO WALK TO YOURSELF...

To set out on a pilgrimage path is to set out in search of oneself, to be turned upside down, to lose the north, the south, the east and the west! An initiation that forces us to give up our reference points and our beliefs, to go and meet the essential.

Of Franco-Peruvian origin, Céline Anaya Gautier has always been attracted by the rites of passage of ancient civilizations. This is why she accompanies her son Leandro, 7 years old, to become a "little man", by walking on the Via Francigena, the mythical "way of the Franks" that the pilgrims of the past used to take. From Langres to Rome, three countries crossed, 1,520 kilometers traveled, 65 days of walking punctuated by unforgettable encounters, songs, solitude, tears, laughter, joy, adventures, spiritual experiences, arguments and laughter.

With each of his steps, Leandro learns to be a pilgrim, discovers life and the world and Céline grows up with him. An extraordinary adventure and an incredible initiatory journey!
